Yes there are a lot of interesting people. I always wonted to find someone, who will be interested at smal funny talks (for example "how to fed a domestic dragon " or "what can i do with my poltergeist ") . I've found such people here. As someone said below, the main thing is to be polite and open -minded)

I've become friends with people here who then after some time became frenemies. Haha.

I think people can make real friends everywhere as long as you can be honest to them and share what you want to share to them.
