Let me say that it takes a lot of work on both sides to be happy together for a long time. You both must respect each other's differences and be a friend to each other. You should communicate and care for each other. Life is really hard enough when you even have a lot in common. With this in mind, I would advise against trying to find a foreigner to marry. If it happens, and you are truely in love, hopefully you will have something in common and will be able to fully appreciate and understand each other.

Australia is a multicultural country so mixed marriages are accepted here as normal. Often English is the common language spoken by the couple if they can't speak each other's language. That said, it may be difficult at first ,for example, for someone who migrates from China, to adjust to Western culture.

I would not necessarily *try* to marry someone from another country, but I have no problem with it. I would not allow it to be an obstacle for me. My culture is fairly tolerant of so-called mixed marriages, but I think that in some countries, there may be much higher a social stigma, which may manifest itself in more stress on the marriage relationship.

Mixed marriage are very beneficial to couples who like to travel and visit different countries.And,want to share their cultures and traditions.
