Hi Tevo,
"Big time" is simply used to emphasize what comes before. They could have said: "It was sooooooooooo nice to meet you!"
Another example is: "I failed big time", i.e. I failed by a wide margin!

This expression is often used in sports and show business. "After winning awards with the independent film, the director moved to Hollywood, which was followed by big time success."
You can also say, "I'm so sorry. I know I messed up big time." It's saying that not only did you mess up, you REALLY messed up.
