Hey Bananaro,
short answer this time: The german word "traditionell" means "traditional" in english, so there is no difference. :)
A few examples on how to use it:
"Sie trug eine traditionelle Tracht."
"Die traditionelle Bauweise beeindruckt ihn."
"Wir mögen unseren Braten traditionell."
"Sie werden eine traditionelle Hochzeit feiern."
"Traditionelle Musik ist typisch für Bayern."
