I don't believe English or any other language has an equivalent! Most of people will say "I miss you" is "Estou com saudades de ti" but it actually is "Sinto tua falta". Saudade is a much stronger word! Putting in a simple way: it's a mixture of missing someone with nostalgia. It's also valid for things, places, situations,past...for example, "tenho saudades da minha infância", I miss so much my childhood!

Saudade is a word that it have only in portuguese, the word look like is miss sometime homesick. example. Eu tenho saudade de você. -I miss you Eu estou com saudade de Salvador- I am homesick from Salvador .
