To my ear - they are very similar.
If the person had given you something, or said something - 'from' would be slightly more appropriate. If they had done something, either would be OK.

very similar however "from" is more when you are dissapointed by the persons actions and they directly impact you whereas "of" seems to be appropriate for when the persons actions have disappointed you however their actions may not have any effect on you.
