"I've got an appointment" vs. "I have an appointment"
Is there some difference between these two expressions ?
An additional example: "I've got to catch my train home" or "I have to catch my train home".
Do they have same meaning ?

In actuality, there is a difference. Not in meaning but in formality. Anytime "got" is used, it is more informal and conversational.

No, both are synonymous to each other, and it really doesn't matter which one you choose to use.

There is no difference. They both mean the same thing.
