뜻이 다른 것 같았어요 Can - 것 같다 be used in the past tense? 뜻이 다른 것 같았어요. I thought the meaning was different. Or would I use - 줄 알다 ? 뜻이 다른 줄 알았어요. Or maybe even 생각하다 ? 감사합니다!

Nope, "-ㄴ 것 같다" is for the past tense, actually more like the present perfect tense in English, and "-ㄹ 것 같다" can be used for the future tense like "be going to do.." I think both make sense for the first sentence, but not "생각하다". \^o^/
