What does "Hotter than a 2-dollars pistol" mean?
I'm translating text about a game describing a town that has grown and thrived to be "Hotter than a 2-dollars pistol", what does that mean?

Firstly, if you are translating text, there shouldn't be numerals. It should read:
a two-dollar pistol
hot = a lot of people what to buy it
If a pistol in the USA sold for two dollars it would be red hot. Get the picture?
