In Urdu, gender is also attatched with the things just like with the human beings. For example a pen ( qalam in urdu) is a masculine thing. Similarly mobile pho e is also a thing that will be treated as masculine. On the other hand book ( kitaab, Iin urdu) is a feminine object. Wrist watch (ghari is also a feminine object.
Now when we have to mention the possessio of these objects we use the words accordingly
Tera = single object that is maculine and that belongs to you.
E.g. = wo kalam tera hy ( that pen belongs to you).
Teri = single object that is feminine and that belong to you.
E.g. = wo kitaab teri hy. (That book belo gs to you)
Tery = plural objects that are all maculine and that belong to you.
E.g = wo sary qalam tery hain. (All those pens belongs to you)
Teri = also used for plural onbjects that are all feminine and that belong to you
E.g. = wo sari kitabyn teri hain. ( all those books belongs to you).
Same is the case with mera, meri, mery, n again meri. Just you have to replace the possessio of you with me.
It will become.
Wo mera qalam hy.
Wo meri kitab hy.
Wo sary qalam tery hain.
Wo sari kitabyn meri hain.
Hope you will understand the differerence well now.
Best of luck with your urdu.
