You shouldn't have done it in the first place.

It is on very rare occasion where we don't accept an apology. The only times that I can think of refusing them is in restaurants, shops and hotels. I am in my 50's and I have only ever refused an apology one time but accepted it later during the conversation because of the persons insistence. I never spoke to him again however.
