Could you correct these sentences? I sometimes cook supper to help my family. That's because only one thing I'm enjoying lately is eat, too. I'm fond of cooking, but it takes too much time to cook. I want to be better for not only my family but also myself.

Sometimes I cook supper to help my family because the only thing that I am enjoying lately is eating. I'm fond of cooking but it often takes up too much time. I want to become better for my family, as well as myself.
