Would it be fine to just say いいえ もんだい (問題 ) or is there another way that you should say it?

It depends. If you are saying "no problem" in response to someone saying "thank you" then you would say「どういたしまして」。
If you are saying "no problem" in response to someone asking you if there's a problem you could say 「問題(もんだい)ない」。Lit. "There is no problem."
