You are asking for quite a bit of time from someone. The point of this video is to be difficult for others to understand. This man is trying to point out the unintelligibility of this accent to outsiders. If you are interested in learning local dialects of American English, you can schedule a lesson with a teacher from these areas. For instance, I live in the Ozarks and am familiar with the Ozark American English dialect, which is somewhat similar to the 'southern accent' the man uses in the video.
