the right preposition I've a doubt about prepositions. I'd like to know if I can say: "No display OF strong anger" in order to summarize briefly the sentence "The teacher never displays stong anger" Is OF the right preposition? thank you, valentina

Yes, "of" would be the correct preposition for a sentence in this form. We use "of" whenever we use the noun form of an emotion: "show of fear," "act of love," "feeling of nervousness," etc. When we use the adjective form, we also use prepositions such as "for," "about" or "towards" (e.g., "His anger towards his brother" or "I'm happy about the election results," etc.).
