"La Belle et La Bêre" I learn to read "La Belle et La Bêre".But I don't understand this text...La famille dut quitter la ville et partir s'installer loin, trés loin dans la campagne pour se rétablir en travaillant dur comme paysan. Why is this text wrote "travaillant"?? Isn't "travaillent"??

En travaillant means while working . Travaillant would be the verb - ills travaillent. They work travaillent is the present participle.
