"Angel with the scabbed wings", can somebody please explain the use of "the" in the context?
This is the title of one of Marilyn Manson songs. Why "the scabbed wings"?

"the" in this context serves to emphasize that this angel in particular has scabbed wings and no other angel that she knows of has scabbed wings.
