What is The Serbian word for turkey? (the food NOT the country.)
How do you say Turkey in Serbian? Like for example, a TURKEY sandwich. I want a turkey sandwich with cheese. How do you say "I want a turkey sandwich?"
When I try to translate Turkey, it gives me "Turska" because I spelled it with a capital T. (That was a joke BTW. LOL)
"I want some Turkey" How do you say, "I want some turkey?"
You know, that.

ćuran - tom, a male turkey (pl - ćurani)
ćurka - a female turkey, also a stupid female (pl - ćurke)
ćuretina - turkey meat
ćureći / ćureća / ćureće - (m/f/n) adj. of turkey
ćureći sendvič - (m) a turkey sandwich
ćureća pašteta - (f) turkey paté
ćureće meso (n) turkey meat, same as ćuretina
pečena ćurka - roasted turkey
punjenje, nadev - stuffing
If you find yourself at an informal Serbian table for Thanksgiving in the US, you could say the following:
"Ja bih malo ćuretine" (I'd like to have some turkey)
"(Je l') može meni malo ćuretine?" (Can I have some turkey?)
"Ćurka izgleda super! (The turkey looks great!)
"Ubio/razbio sam se!" ("I've killed myself!" meaning "I am stuffed!")
"Hvala, ne mogu više!" (Thank you, I can't eat any more!)
"Eksplodiraću!" (I'll explode!)
Enjoy!
