Difference in Voulez vous and Vous-Voulez?
Little confused on the different ways you can use Vous voulez ou Voulez-vous? My first reaction is to propose it in a sentence as Voulez vous. I checked from the book I am studying and they said it was wrong.
The example is: You want a glass of wine? Vous voulez un verre de vin? NOT Voulez vous un verre de vin?
Help explain the difference!
Thanks!

For a question, Voulez-vous ...? is more correct than Vous voulez ... ?
Vous voulez is correct for a question but less good. It is more often used for normal phrases
It would be the same for example with "Prenez-vous du café?" vs "Vous prenez du café". The second is ok but worse than the first.

Voulez-vous..... est la forme correcte
Mais dans le langage courant tu peux dire les deux.
