Tout de suite ou maintenant?
In English, I would say: I turned in my essay for school earlier today, and right now I am watching TV. If I want to make it clear that it is right now, which would I use: tout de suite or maintenant?
You'd use 'maintenant' or 'en ce moment'. 'Maintenant' means 'now'.
'Tout de suite' means 'right away' in the sense of immediately, or without delay. For example, 'Il faut partir tout de suite.'
