"common room" in Dutch Hello Dutch speakers! I need to know the Dutch equivalent for the term "common room" as intended in a hostel. Is it "Gemeenschappelijke kamer"? (I've found that on hostelworld.

Hi, 'Gemeenschappelijke kamer' is what you get when you translate common room literally. In the context of a hostel is 'gemeenschappelijke ruimte' a better translation.
