In fact, those are just two ways to get a master and that gives the exact same diploma at the end. You can choose to do either of them. Maybe if you are looking to pursue research, you can stick with Master with research since you can probably get a job in the research field while you are studying. If you are just looking to get you Masters' degree then stop studying, you can maybe choose coursework. Hope it is helping you ;-)
