English doesn't have 'wordroots' in the way some other languages do. You can't break English words down into constituent parts like a chemical formula. Most words just are what they are. Any good dictionary will give you the etymology of words, indicating their derivation from Latin, French, or a Germanic language via Old English, for example. However, I doubt whether this information would be of any use to you. It won't help you learn English, or tell you how the words are used today.
