When it comes to writing a report, should I include at the end of it this: Thank you for...?
I know it is something formal, but if my purpose is to write to a supervisor about what happened in a period of time, is it correct to say 'Thank you' or you just end the writing with 'Yours, (name)' like in a letter?

I don't think I would write thank you at the end, but it would really depend on the content of your letter and whom you were writing to.
