Do we need to pronounce /d/ in "tour guide"
I just wonder whether we need to pronounce /d/ at the end of "tour guide".

Yes, we do need to pronounce the 'd' at the end of 'tour guide'. There are no silent 'd's in English. May I ask where you got the idea from that pronouncing the 'd' was optional?
