They sit 'far' or 'far away' from each other? The use of 'away' is quite tricky.. Thank you!!

They sit far..... means nothing They sit far away ...... means "they" could be together but a distance from others They sit far away from each other..... means there is a lot of distance between the people who are "they" They sit far apart ..... means there is a lot of distance between the people who are "they" hope that helps
