The Chinese Medical Culture!
I'm terribly sorry that I use English here. For now, I hardly know about the Chinese language. Sorry againㅠㅅㅠ
I'd like to learn about the Chinese medical culture. I googled "the Chinese medical culture," but all the posts were focused on only the TRADITIONAL Chinese medicineㅠㅠ.. Could you teach me about the general medical culture of China? Or you could introduce a post about that to me!^^ Please help me! Thank you in advance :)
* I said "general" but it may be quite vague. So let me give you some examples of the Japanese medical culture. What I want to know is something like the followings :)
-The Japanese people don't like receive other people's organ, blood, etc.
-With health/medical problems, usually a husband makes a decision, not wife.
-Elderly people are proud when they get help related to health from their children(sons and daughters).
Thank you!

Cultural attitudes to health:
Chinese people think TCM is very natural and western medicine is very strong with lots of side effects.
Taking TCM for preventative measures is good.
Family are very involved in decision making. Sometimes it is not the direct relative making a decision.
If something goes wrong, they can attack the doctor (can read this in the news).
I heard that relatives will sometimes sleep under the patient's bed at night!
If you cannot eat, then that's a very serious illness.
