Are there any rules for using prepositions with the phrases "the top right, the bottom corner, ..."?
We know that we can say: at the top, at the bottom, on the left, in the middle, in the corner, at the corner. Now, when we need combine them, we say that: on the top right, in the bottom corner, in the left corner. Are there any rules for the last point?, in other words, why we can't say that "at the left corner" and "at the top right" for example?
This is the first questions for italki.
Best regards

The first preposition that comes to mind for corners is "in". However, if you write a full text for correction, then members here could tell you what is correct in that context.
This is basically a question about in, on and at, isn't it? :) Try an online search and see what you come up with.

First, we need to define the context. Are you talking about a flat surface such as a picture or a computer screen?
- In the right CORNER of the screen
- In the top right CORNER of the screen
- On the left SIDE, on the right SIDE.
- At the top of the screen
- At the top center of the screen
- At the top right of the screen.
I would use "in" with "corner".
I would use "on" with "side".
Otherwise, I would use "at".
