There are so many different countries and so many different types of institutes that could be included in your question, and every single institution would do it differently. Therefore, it's hard to give advice on the topic. If it is an oral exam, I'm going to assuming it would generally include something like this: "Hi, tell us a bit about yourself." -*Tells a bit about herself. "What brings you here (Why does she want to do whatever it is she is trying to do wherever she is trying to do it. Is she trying to apply for medical school? Does she want a better lifestyle? Did she just receive a job offer? Why is she moving?) -*Tells a bit about her situation. *Some generic question to get her to expand on something and possibly set the stage to let her argue a point of view or reasoning for something. *Some generic questions about her viewpoint, how she feels about a counterargument or complex topic. Honestly, if it is ONLY oral, then they are probably looking to assess her level of proper sentence syntax, pronunciation, ability to express herself, ability to express complex and nuanced opinions or develop an argument, and her ability to deal with opposing viewpoints or opinions. This is what I've been through in other countries, in any case. Again, however, this is just as guess, as I have no idea what her specific situation is. Hope this helps a bit in any case.
