Mandarin Translation: "Just another day in paradise"
Recently, I ended a notebook entry with the phrase: "Just another day in paradise." 5 different people suggested edits for the piece but none of them were able to help translate that phrase. Could you help me?

This phrase originally would mean something like "living the dream" - or that you are very happy doing what you are doing. However, it can also be used ironically (which was how I used it); if you are discussing difficulties and then say "Just another day in paradise," it's understood that

a) the problems occur often, maybe daily and
b) you aren't really happy but you're still able to joke about the situation so people know you aren't extremely frustrated.

Maybe this phrase is very specific to English speaking cultures and translating it doesn't really capture its intent.

it reminds me of a song called ‘another day in paradise’（phil collins）which is translated into ‘天堂的另一天’.the song is famous in 90s，i think.i don't sure if you have heard this song before，my father who borns in 70s loved it when he was a college student.
in this song，it seems like most of us live in a happy and easy world，while some people are not，they live a hard life and need us to help them.what a shame，because of the growth background，most of us could not understand this very well.
just my opinion，my english is shit，wish i have expressed what i thought^_^

There are many idioms but each is suitable for that particular context.  However, a direct translation such as 閬苑一天 will be understood from your context. A Comme ci comme ça situation would be something like 天跌下來當被冚 (Cantonese) "When heavens falls, treat it like a blanket covering you".  听之任之 (hear it, follow it) - a laissez-faire situation.

I would translate it as the sentence that  living the dream.
And I probably will used it on the ironically lol

Translating this phrase doesn't really capture its intent. The original phrase has the have-to-do-this-thing-but-don't-really-want-to-do kind of feeling, but in Chinese people say things like, "又来？（here it comes again?）"
