blanket Hi, there What do you call when someone go under the blanket? Do you say "cover yourself up", "put on the blanket", "take off the blanket". ? "If you feel cold during the night, put on the blanket" "Don't take off your blanket during the night" And "put on" a jacket/coat? Do you say only "wrap yourself"? What would you say? Thank you

Hi Jordana, You can say "put on a blanket", but you could also say "cover yourself with this blanket". And yes, you "put on" a jacket/coat. I hope my answer helps!

Hi Jordana--good question. All your answers are acceptable: 1. Cover yourself up. 2. Put on the blanket. 3. Take off the blanket. 4. If you feel cold during the night, put on the blanket. Another one: Get under the blanket (or covers). All this shows that you can say something in English many ways. By the way, in American English we always put the punctuation before the end quotation marks: "Cover yourself up." Good luck with improving your English!
