Could "I don't like anything" be expressed as "I like nothing"?
Could you please help me to clear the question?

Yes, both sentences have the same meaning, but in English we prefer to give the negative as early as possible. Our natural choice is, "I don't like anything."

Yes but don't ever say "I don't like nothing" because THAT is a double negative and not proper English grammar.
