What is the difference of these three, "press", "push" and "hit"
When I push something ,like a button, I thought I should have used "press". But I sometimes see someone using "hit" when they talk about pressing something, like "I hit a button". Can I also say "I push a button"? I don't know these differences.
Could anyone let me know?

For this instance, they all mean the same thing.
Though in my opinion, it comes down to personal preference for "push" and "press". "Hit" is informal, and can sound a bit aggressive.

They are similar, but "press" and "push" are more forma and proper than "hit".
If you are writing some sort of instructions, for example, "press" or "push" should be the right word.

They all mean exactly the same thing. You can use all 3.
