What's the average age for Americans to get married?
I frequently get asked this question by Chinese friends in comparing American & Chinese average age at marriage. USAToday (American newspaper) has a lengthy article on average marriage age and ideal age for marriage. http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2008-11-09-delayed-marriage_N.htm
"The median age is now the oldest since the U.S. Census started keeping track in the 1890s: almost 26 for women and almost 28 for men."
So what do you think is the ideal age for getting married?

It depends on where you live exactly, but I would say the average age for brides is 25 and the average age for grooms is 27.
