What is the difference between "de la" and "din"?
I saw a sentence in a textbook.
Ei intră la cinematograf dar ele ies de la cinematograf.
If I change "de la" into "din", how it changed in the meaning?
Ei intră la cinematograf dar ele ies din cinematograf.

In your sentence both "de la" and "din" can be used, with a difference that I'll try to explain bellow. If you say "Girls are getting out from the room", in romanian will be "Fetele ies din cameră”, not ”de la”. The difference is that "de la" is used when you refer to from a place (A plecat de la magazin=He left from the store), from a person (A plecat de la mine=He left from my place), while "din" is used when you refer to from inside a place (like the example with the girls above). So, if you say "ele ies din cinematograf", they are getting out from the cinema building. If you say "ele ies de la cinematograf", they are getting out from the cinema (they saw a movie, and when the movie it's over they leave). Hope you understood a little bit this little difference from these examples :)
