What is the meaning of "dodgy idea / character" ? Don't trust him - he's a really dodgy character.

"Dodgy" means that the person cannot be trusted because he/she will "dodge" the truth, will try to keep you from knowing the truth about them, because they are not a good person, they will pretend to be something they are not. "dodgy" means unreliable or tricky or uncertain
