Is it correct to say: At the beggining of the term, it's quite busy?
I was trying to say that during the start of the term (semester) things are getting busy (actually it was one my friends). I would like to know if it's grammatically correct and if possible, what's the better way of saying it?

- At the beginning of the term, it gets quite busy.

Where I live, term isn't used as frequently and we would just use semester:

- It gets quite busy at the beginning of the semester.

That is correct, but it should be: At the beginning of the term, it's quite busy. A more natural way to say it might be: At the beginning of the semester, things tend to get busy.
