상황에 따라 다르지만 '기절'이 가장 많이 쓰입니다. 한편, '실신'은 때로는 '미치다'를 대체할 수 있어요. 이 경우 '기절, 졸도'는 사용할 수 없습니다.
ex) 그는 완전히 실신한 사람처럼 굴었다.
= 그는 완전히 미친 사람처럼 굴었다.
