Are these sentences correct?
When a person wrote me about his/her latest news can I answer like this?
"I am pleased to receive your message".
"I am pleased to know your news".

Hello Irina!
Maybe this will help you:
--------------------------------------------
"I am pleased to receive your message" is good.
"I am pleased to have received your message" is better.
"I am pleased to know your news" is not so good. Try "I am pleased to hear the good news" or "I am pleased you have shared your good news with me". These are more common expressions.
-------------------------------------

Hi Irina,
Your first sentence is grammatically sound.
As for your second sentence, we don't say or write: "... pleased to know your news."
The word "news" refer to a piece of information about recent events as reported by means of newspapers or web sites. When your friend updates you on what has happened in his or her life recently, it is not a piece of news.
Perhaps you can write: "I am pleased to catch up with you."
Hope this helps.
Cheers, Lance
