Bopomofo Keyboard
你們好!I am very frustrated with the simplified pinyin keyboard that I'm currently using because it is so hard for me to find the traditional characters on it which are the characters I'm learning. I would like to learn how to use the Taiwanese keyboard but how would I go about doing this? What's the trick? Do I have to memorize where each key is and sound? Do I have to combine consonants to make a word? I'm so lost haha.

Hi Danny, we have some different kinds of input methods in Taiwan. Cangjie input, Boshiamy and
Phonetic input are widely used in Taiwan now. You can find the free practice of these input methods online easily.
I think a keyboard cover skin or sticker can help you a lot.

Are you in Taiwan? Traditonal chracters are only used in Taiwan and Hongkong. So i think it is more useful if you learn simplified characters in China. You can download Sougou input to type traditional characters. You need to learn Pinyin before you can type both types of Characters.

My personal suggestions: you can download a software or app by named "搜狗拼音“ or the "google 拼音” then install on your PC or phone. they are more useful and convenient than the keyboard that the System provided. Have a try , by the way the Taiwanese keyboard will be the last one that I recommend, it is useless and complicated .
