What's the meaning of "nibbling from the treetops"?
I came across the phrase "nibbling from the treetops" in a novel.
I see the word "nibble at" in dictionaries. However this is "nibble from". Are they the same meaning?

Yes, the meaning is the same.
I tend to say "nibbling at X" when "X" refers to food itself, and "nibbling from X" when "X" is a place where food is found.
"You're just nibbling at your dinner today, do you feel all right?"
"This bowl of peanuts is for our guests, I don't want to see anybody nibbling from it."
