Can Chinese read traditional Chinese characters (The one that Taiwanese use)?
So, as I mention on the top, I'm looking for any Chinese to answer this question. I'm very curious about this question since we(Taiwanese) can read simplified characters completely. On the others hand, can you guys identify every traditional one as well? (Regardless of the different usage of words)

By the way, for those, not native Chinese speakers(As foreign language learners), can any of you read traditional Chinese? How and where did you learn it?

据我所知，中国使用的繁体字（大陆、港台和台湾）基本上没有什么不同。在大陆，繁体字如果是在较长或意思明显的上下文中，一般人都能认读，当然不常用的冷僻字除外。我本人是学语言学的，基本上较常用的几千字中的繁体字不仅会认，而且会写。

其实简体字、繁体字造成的交流的困难很小。说“国语”的台湾人和说“普通话”的大陆人互相理解基本上也没有问题。比较明显的差别是有一些词语的不同。例如，不少上世纪初开始用起来的半文半白的词语还保留在台湾的国语（的书面语中，口语中现在一般也不用了）中，这些词语在大陆人听起来是比较文气的，也不使用，比较陌生，但是可以理解。其实这些词语曾经是全国通用的，大陆人过去也同样适用。还有一些新生的词语，例如“资讯-信息”、“（计算机）程序-程式”，两地不同，但是在一定的语境下都可以互相理解。有一些来自台湾的词语，现在大陆也在使用，例如“愿景”。当然，由于两地政治、经济、社会生活的分隔，还各有一些带有“政治”、“历史”背景的词语，对方由于不了解其背景，一时是难以理解的。
