Direct pronouns
Vas a mirar television?
I answered....
Si, yo voy a lo miré.
Why is this wrong? It is a question on direct pronouns.

you could use also "mirar" but it sounds better if you use "ver" here in mexico it is commonly said "si, voy a ver la television"

Well, as long as I'm concerned you must say "ver" no "mirar", But I don't know if in Latin American dialect that's permissible.
Firstly, television is feminine so you you use "la" and secondly be careful with where you put it.
You should say: si, la voy a mirar/ver.
Good luck!

The direct object pronoun tends to go at the beginning of the sentence. Before the conjugated verb, but it can also can be attached to the non conjugated verb. For example, I'm going to do it lo voy a hacer or you can say voy a hacerlo. You have to be careful when attaching the direct object pronoun because of other rules like when using the indirect object pronoun. Also 2 words can't be conjugated in the same sentence unless you have connector words. ¿Puedo tener la agua? ( can I have the water?) not, ¿puedo tengo la agua ? ( can I I have the water. Wasn't sure if you knew this so I wanted to clarify.
