you bet <-- the origin of this slang goes like this. there is something that you are absolutely certain about that you can BET (wager your money) on it because it is a sure thing
or simply it means you are certain about something

"you bet" or "you betcha" is American slang meaning "you are absolutely right". Others use it occasionally, but mostly Americans
