해양생물 = marine organism
해양박물관 = maritime museum
해양학자 = oceanographer

대양 specifically refers to the five oceans
(남/북)태평양 = Pacific Ocean (north/south)
(남/북)대서양 = Atlantic Ocean (north/south)
인도양 = Indian Ocean
5대양6대주 = five oceans and six continents = the whole world (geographical)
