Is this sentence OK?
(I couldn't see or hear anything)
If I say;
I thought I was going deaf / going blind for a moment.

When using the "/" in written english you actually don't have to repeat going. So it could read:
I thought I was going deaf/blind for a moment.

That's good. That's exactly how I would say it if it ever happened, and it sounds natural enough.
