you can say :以....闻名 eg.澳大利亚以袋鼠闻名.
but for me , i  prefer to translate in a more simple way. for example 泰国的食物很好吃。澳大利亚的袋鼠很著名。中国人很聪明。泰国人很友好。that's it and more natural
