- Je n'arrive toujours pas à me figurer /comment fonctionnent/ ce que veulent dire/ certains adverbes. Note : se figurer is a synonym for understrand, in the sense of grasping the concept.

Je suis toujours en train d'essayer de comprendre certains adverbes or something similar to that, it's more of a figurative sense so it may vary with interpretation :)
