In English, when you 'coat' something in something else it means you put a thin layer on top - so a coated glove could mean a glove that has a think layer of another kind of material on top e.g. some kind of plastic to make it more hygienic or to help the glove grip better. To help you understand the meaning of 'coat' better: in another context, you could have a doughnut coated in chocolate or sugar, for example. Ellie.

Gloves means a pair of things you wear in hands to get warm!
