How to ask questions in French?
In French, there are three ways to ask questions (right?):
Example:
1. Tu es journaliste?
2. Est-ce que tu es journaliste?
3. Es-tu journaliste?
What is the difference between them? When should I use one or other form?
---
Please, answer me in one of these languages: PT \ ES \ EN \ FR. Merci!

Salut Laryssa !
All three have the same meaning and can be used interchangeably.
That said, the slightly more vernacular of the three would be the first one, « Tu es journaliste ? ».
The other two would be slightly more formal which, of course, is not that formal, since you are using « tu ».
I hope that helps!

As perguntas com "Est-ce que" e com a troca entre a posição do verbo e do pronome, como em "es-tu", podem ser usadas em situações quase iguais, porém, as perguntas que têm sua formação com estrutura igual a de uma frase afirmativa, como em "tu es...?", só podem ser usadas em algumas situações.
Questions with "Est-ce que...?" and with the verb before the pronoun, like in the sentence "es-tu...?" can be used in the same situations, however, questions that have the same affirmative phrase structure, like in "tu es...?", have a more limited usage.
Les questions avec "Est-ce que" et l'échange entre la position du verbe et du pronom, comme dans "es-tu", peuvent être utilisés dans des situations presque égales, cependant, les questions qui ont leur formation avec une structure égale à d'une phrase affirmative, comme dans "tu es ...?", ne peut pas être utilisé que dans certaines situations.
De rien.
